How to Stick to Your New Year’s Weight Loss Resolution

New Year’s Eve is right around the corner, and here at Heritage Family Medicine and Aesthetics, we know for most people that means making an annual new year’s resolution to lose weight. So, What is Optifast?

How Optifast Works 

The Optifast program works in three phases.

  1. Weight Loss Phase- The first phase in our Optifast program is the weight loss phase. It begins with an entry consultation that looks at your current weight, health and the goals that you have.   2. Transformation Phase- Our weight loss program will evaluate each person individually and look at their health in order to slowly transition patients back to standard food that they can prepare for themselves. During this phase, patients will also have access to ongoing counseling that will help them alter the way they are used to living and eating so that they can maintain this new healthy eating approach in their everyday life.
  3. Maintenance Phase- Most people who have tried weight loss before, know that maintaining their results is the most difficult part of healthy weight loss. Patients are encouraged to attend ongoing consultations through our program to make sure that they are doing what it takes to keep the weight off.
